Dr.
Wheeler graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing
Science from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. Her
doctorate in audiology was obtained at the University of Texas at
Dallas. Dr. Wheeler did her externship at Cook Children's Medical
Center specializing in pediatric audiology.
After graduating she
worked at the University of North Texas as adjunct faculty in the
Speech & Hearing Center with a focus on educational audiology. Recently Dr. Wheeler joined the clinical adjunct faculty of the University of Texas at Dallas for the 2010-2011 academic year as a clinical supervisor for audiology doctoral candidates. Dr.
Wheeler currently provides audiological services to Birdville
Independent School District, Carroll Independent School District, Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District and Coppell Independent School District. Dr. Wheeler is certified by the
American Board of Audiology as well as being licensed by the State of
Texas to practice Audiology.
