After completing a hearing test and a hearing loss is found, your audiologist will explain the results of the tests in detail and will provide you an opportunity to ask specific questions regarding the results. Your audiologist will discuss options for intervention. If necessary, you may be referred to an otolaryngologist to determine the cause of the hearing loss and to receive medical clearance for hearing aids.
