Credentials: Certified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Bio

Stephanie Martin graduated with her Bachelor of Science in habilitation of the deaf from Texas Christian University. She then taught at the Birdville Regional Day School for the Deaf before consulting and advocating for mainstreamed students with hearing impairments in the Hurst Euless Bedford Independent School District. During that time, she also served families of children who are deaf and hard of hearing birth to three years as a certified Parent-Infant Educator. She is licensed by the state of Texas to practice fitting and dispensing hearing instruments. In her free time, she enjoys her busy household with four sons and traveling with friends and family.
